Update your policies with expert help during a one-day, intensive HOTMA Policy Workshop. An NMA industry expert will help you update your agency’s admin plan to comply with Section 102 and 104 changes under HOTMA, effective January 1, 2024.  

DURING YOUR WORKSHOP:

  • Up to 10 agencies will attend each session. Multiple people from your agency may participate.
  • The NMA consultant will review each chapter of the model policy impacted by the new HOTMA regulations.
  • Each area impacted by HOTMA will be reviewed and discussed. Where your PHA must make a policy decision, the consultant will provide an in-depth discussion of your options.
  • Your agency will be responsible for editing your own policy and capturing your own decision points and policy changes made through discussions led by the NMA consultant.

These sessions are for agencies with the NMA Model Admin Plan; if you don't already have them, purchase them before the workshop.

NOTE: The workshop will focus only on HOTMA changes to your policies. This is neither a training session on HOTMA nor a comprehensive review of your admin plan. 

LENGTH: One day, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

AUDIENCE: Agency staff directly involved in updating your ACOP or administrative plan. Participants must have the NMA model policy for the chosen session; no exceptions.
