On January 31, HUD released a pre-publication copy of the long awaited HOTMA Final Rule. While the official final rule has not yet been published, the pre-publication copy of The Final Rule implementing Sections 102, 103, and 104 of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) provides PHAs and O/As with a preview of what’s in store.

The rule will make sweeping changes to the regulations for the HCV, PBV, public housing, and Multifamily programs, particularly in the areas of income calculation and recertifications.

Join NMA Senior Manager of Professional Services and Trainer Samantha Sowards to go over all the details. Most importantly, the webinar will clarify which pieces of the rule need to be implemented within 30 days of the eventual publication of the final rule, and which pieces need to be implemented on January 1, 2024. The webinar will also cover the major areas impacted by the new rule and what you need to do to prepare.
