Join industry expert and NMA’s Vice President of Inspections, Michael Petragallo, for a discussion of HUD's National Standards for the Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE). With decades of experience in affordable housing inspections—including HQS, UPCS, and REAC—Michael will discuss the effect of the new standards on HCV programs and landlords.

NSPIRE standards will be applicable to HCV on October 1, 2024. Michael will provide insight into how implementation is proceeding so far as well as discussing the increased number of 24-hour life-threatening deficiencies, the new requirements for repair times, and how to transition your agency to the new standards.
