In a letter to executive directors, HUD's Office of Public and Indian Housing emphasizes the importance of carefully managing their HCV program budget in 2025. The letter notes that although PHAs are receiving full renewal funding, HUD remains concerned that many may still experience HCV funding shortfalls this year. The document also emphasizes that HUD has very limited funds to address such shortfalls, and PHAs should not operate their programs under the assumption that additional funding will be available.
